Dr. Brandon Weyhing - Veterinarian

Dr. Weyhing was born and raised in Kentucky, but he has lived all around the country throughout his most recent years.

He received his bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from the University of Kentucky. Afterwards, he earned his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. Since graduating, he has worked as a mixed animal veterinarian in Texas and then changed course to practice as a small animal veterinarian in Los Angeles, California. He also practiced for multiple years in Ames, Iowa prior to moving to the DMV. Now he is excited for the many years to come in Maryland and getting to know so many of the pets who live here.

At home, Dr. Weyhing has three goofy mutts – Sadie, Eden and Koda – who live for romping in the yard equally as much as they enjoy being lazy around the house and a tiny cat named Florence. In his free time, Dr. Weyhing likes to cook new food, read a variety of books and go for runs throughout town. He is very excited to explore the DMV and all it has to offer. He is always looking for food and adventure recommendations.
